Michele, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My family LOVES to travel! I have been a travel agent for 10 years. People asking me, “do travel agents still exist”? YES! You save TIME and MONEY using us to book your vacations. I even give a cruise away each year to one of my clients as a thank you for using us!
I have two children 10 yrs. old and 13 yrs. old. They have been on more cruises than most adults. My favorite destination is Tahiti. I also am the founder of Cruise Chics, a Christian women’s retreat and cruise.
Has it been a smooth road?
We grow as human beings from the “hard times”. When I first opened my business, the economy was in a big slump, so less people were even taking vacations. Now, I am in the top 10% with my company.

I have been in sales for a long time. What sets me apart is exceeding people’s expectation and going the extra miles. My clients LOVE that once their vacation is booked I have a tool that I watch the pricing on their vacation and if a NEW SALE comes out and the price goes down, I lower the price and send them an email that I SAVED them MONEY. They of course, then refer all their friends and family to me. I reward my clients that refer new people to me with a Visa gift card. They become a Vacation Hero! Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I like best about the city is so many things to do with families. Everything from theatre to hiking! There is a lot to see and explore and enjoy close by. We did lots of stayvacations as a family.
Some of my favorites are Stone Mountain, Callaway Gardens, Chateau Elan and Elijay!
I bet you can guess what I like least about Atlanta…….TRAFFIC! And I wish there was a beach a little closer.
