Meet Mihigo of Alreflections

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mihigo.

Hi Mihigo, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began with nothing more than curiosity, a deep desire to build, and a belief that information could change lives. My journey started back in 2019 when I was trying to learn computer programming but felt like I was a slow learner and my academic grades weren’t good enough. Before taking my first step into learning programming, I decide to first read book and article because I wanted to improve myself first and get prepared. During that time, I even started documenting every helpful lesson into a handwritten notebook I was able to read again and again.

Later, based on the notes I had taken and my personal experience, I was able to organize all the lesson into my first book called “How to Attain Success: Time to Awaken The Giant Within You”. And to achieve my goal of mastering programming, I kept following some steps to improve my learning speed and the ability to both understand and solve problems. Back then one of the most important topics I had to focus on is called “The Secret Language”.

On the Sunday of May 12th, 2019, I was finally able to start learning computer programming. At first, I had some challenges. But in the same year, I was able to make some programming languages by myself. And in 2021, I started training others in computer programming through a club I started at my school that was called “Alreflections Digital Creative”. At first I learnt programming, because I was already planning about starting a business in 2025, and then, in 2021, I wanted to help my friends to learn and master programming without going through all the challenges I had gone through.

In the year 2022, I kept working on different projects and as well supporting Alreflections Digital Creative. That time, I was able to release several software programs including on called Little Shark AI. This was a cost effective software designed to speed up the programming tasks. And when 2023 came, I was finally complete school. For that reason, I focused on building websites in 2023 and not so many software programs. However, I also kept improving my skills and challenging myself for growth.

When 2024 came, I knew I only had a very short time before the official launch of my business. So, I focus on building projects like the ATINAS Search Engine and also preparing my books for global distribution. to keep supporting the committed individuals, I started online communities namely; Developers With Attitude, Young Entrepreneur Network and the Camaraderie. And I kept providing important lessons and advice through other initiatives of mine like Alreflections Podcast and my personal blog.

On May 12th, 2025, I official started my company called Alreflections and I started inviting my entire network of close friends and fellow entrepreneurs for partnerships and doing business with my company. By the beginning of June, we had already secured many important partnerships and we were receiving several orders as well. In 2019, I already believed I had to start a business, but I didn’t realize that most of my our first clients will come looking for website development services. Our most recent project is called Sawasoko, and it was launched on October 19th, 2025.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road hasn’t been smooth at all, but every challenge ended up shaping the way I work and build today. When I first started, I felt like I was learning too slowly and didn’t have the “right” academic background to succeed in technology. That self-doubt alone was a battle. But with effort and determination, I not only improved my learning speed but also move from that last position to the first position in class.

Once I finally began programming, the next struggle was access—access to guidance, to resources, and to people who could help me move faster. I had to rely on self-teaching, experimentation, and sometimes building my own tools just to make progress. There were periods when I felt completely stuck, especially in the early days when I didn’t know where to find the best learning materials.

Later, as I started supporting others through communities and training programs, the challenge shifted from personal learning to leadership. I had to learn how to teach clearly, how to guide different personalities, and how to stay consistent even when my own projects demanded all my attention.

Launching my business brought a new level of pressure. Balancing product development, client work, community building, and long-term vision required discipline that I had to develop in real time. There were financial challenges, doubts from others, moments of burnout, and times when projects failed or took longer than planned.

But each struggle sharpened me. They pushed me to think differently, innovate faster, and become more intentional with my work and my mission. The difficult parts became the training ground that prepared me for everything I’m doing now, and they continue to influence how I build systems, tools, and communities that make the path easier for the people coming after me.

We’ve been impressed with Alreflections, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Alreflections is built around a simple belief: knowledge, creativity, and technology should be accessible enough to help anyone improve their life or build something meaningful. The company began as a personal mission, and it has evolved into a growing ecosystem of tools, communities, and digital products that support learners, creators, and entrepreneurs across different fields.

At its core, Alreflections specializes in practical digital solutions—website development, software tools, online training, media platforms, and community-building. We create products that solve real problems, such as ATINAS Search Engine, the Alreflections programming resources, and Sawasoko, our multivendor product-showcasing platform. We also support learning through our programming portal, our online communities, and the personal development resources we publish.

What sets us apart is the blend of innovation and philosophy behind the brand. Alreflections isn’t only about building technology; it’s about helping people grow, think better, and create with intention. Every product or initiative we release is tied to that mission. Whether it’s a search engine, a course, a book, or a software tool, the goal is always to open doors for people who want to learn, build, or reach new opportunities.

Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the consistency. From the early handwritten notes that shaped my first book to the launch of Alreflections as a full company, the vision has always been the same: empower people through useful knowledge and innovative digital solutions. Our communities—Developers With Attitude, Young Entrepreneur Network, Camaraderie—are extensions of that commitment. They bring together people who want to grow and give them a space where support and resources are within reach.

For your readers, the takeaway is simple. Alreflections is a brand built on real work, real impact, and real dedication to helping others progress. Whether someone needs a website, wants to learn programming, is looking for growth tools, or wants to showcase their products online, we’ve created an ecosystem designed to support their goals. And we’re still expanding, still building, and still committed to shaping opportunities for the people who believe in their potential.

What matters most to you?
What matters most to me is impact—creating work that actually helps people move forward in their lives. I care about building tools, ideas, and systems that give someone a little more clarity, a little more skill, or a little more opportunity than they had before. That’s the thread running through everything I do, from writing and teaching to building software and communities.

I think it matters because I know what it feels like to start with very little guidance. The right information at the right moment changed the direction of my life, and it showed me how powerful knowledge and practical support can be. So I’ve made it my mission to pass that forward, to make things easier for others than they were for me.
