Mike, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Live music connects people, moments and memories. While Atlanta has many great music venues, we recognized all of those venues were a very long drive from the Northwest suburbs we call our home. MadLife was created to provide an exceptional performance venue for musicians and music lovers who live in this area.
Has it been a smooth road?
There are always challenges starting a business from scratch, but looking back, nothing was overwhelming. Between our indoor concert venue, restaurant, production studios, and our outdoor patio stage, there are a lot of aspects to our business. We have been fortunate – our team, local musicians, patrons, and businesses have all been extremely supportive of what we are building at MadLife. We are grateful to be surrounded by these wonderful people who share our vision.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with MadLife Stage & Studios – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
MadLife presents great live entertainment, crossing many genres, in our music venue and on our patio stage, six nights every week. We serve a menu of southern-inspired, house-made creations from our scratch kitchen. We capture nearly all of the music performances that take place in our venue, and we provide video and audio production, editing and mastering services through our studios. We have a lot going on!
We are known for the exceptional concerts we host in our music venue… All made possible by the musicians who grace our stage and our engineers who assure all performances are presented with sonic integrity. We have also developed a solid reputation for the quality of the food and drinks we serve.
We are the most proud when we see our patrons and musicians connecting at MadLife through wonderful nights of music. Without a doubt, inspired live music performances and powerful entertainment experiences are what sets MadLife apart.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We love Downtown Woodstock for many reasons.
To name a few: The modern hometown feel of the city, the people who make Woodstock their home and frequent MadLIfe, the City’s management team, Council and Mayor – who are all committed to making Woodstock a wonderful place to live, work and play. Woodstock is a gem, and we are fortunate to call it MadLife’s home.
What we like least: Like many, we look forward to more parking!
