I’m a big product guy, so when I fall in love with products and see an opportunity I take it. My business partner and I saw a need in the hair industry and we acted on it. His girlfriend would go get her hair done every weekend and spend hours at the hair salon spending $200-$400 and we jokingly said “we’re in the wrong industry.” After shopping around for some of the greatest products we found what women would be looking for. When we launched in the hair business we started off with Luxury Hair Direct, which was an affiliate program for hair. After a few years in the business and learning a lot we launched Private Label Extensions. Private Label Extensions is a wholesale distribution company that launches hair brands for people. We are a one stop shop. So, we offer hair extensions, mink lashes, edge control, customized packaging, logo creation, websites, and drop shipping.
Has it been a smooth road?
Of course not. Any great thing you want to accomplish you will endure some struggles along the way. The goal is to stay consistent and focus on controlling the controllables. There were days when I remember only getting one or two sales a day to now it’s at the point where our growing staff has trouble getting orders out on a daily basis because our volume is so high.
