Meet Miss Moore of Moore Enterprise in Southside

Today we’d like to introduce you to Miss Moore.

Miss, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Believe it or not, I use to be an engineering major. I received my Associate of Science Degree at Savannah State University in 2017. When I got to Kennesaw State University, I switched my major. I knew I wasn’t happy or fulfilled. I started diving into my public relations classes as well as my writing classes and it hit me then. I knew I wanted my own company that consisted of events, PR in entertainment, and more. During the Coronavirus pandemic in May, I stopped talking about what I wanted to do and started doing what I wanted to do. With help from my family and my executive assistant, Nae B, Moore Enterprise became a reality. I became PR-Agency Ready Certified with the PR Council. I took legal steps to make my company legit. And from there, I have blossomed quickly.

Has it been a smooth road?
This has not been the smoothest road so far, but it is worth it. Some struggles along the way were learning the business by trial and error, things just not going the way you expected, etc. But that is life. Curveballs will get thrown. It’s what you do with them that matters. I guess because I used hate my career choice and didn’t know what I wanted, it feels amazing and worth all the struggles and tribulations now that I have found my purpose in life. And I’m happy. Nothing that is worth having is easy. But everything that makes you happy is worth the fight.

We’d love to hear more about your work.
Moore Enterprise is not only a PR agency but also hosts a variety of events for the Atlanta community. It is a company that caters to its clients. As of right now, I represent R&B singer and songwriter, Maya Lanet. I represent female rapper and singer Ona. I also represent Nae B. She hosts a show called The CTRL Room. I recently had a pop-up with a concert of up and coming artists in August. I just finished Maya Lanet’s single release party in September, where she performed her latest hit With Passion. Ona is about to open for Trina in Detroit in October. And you can subscribe to The CTRL Room on YouTube to follow all of the latest interviews and showcases. I specialize in PR in the entertainment industry, social media, and events. I think what sets me apart from others is my work ethic and passion. There are many talented people who don’t have the drive, passion, or work ethic. I have it all. I think I am most proud of as a company is a growth within the past five months. I have built connections with many important people in the industry and it still feels like a dream.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
I see my industry getting bigger and broader by the year. It is enough room and money for everybody. I personally see my company expanding. I am building a strong team to work beside me and bigger events are coming. I can’t give too much away. Just keep your eyes and ears open.
