Today we’d like to introduce you to Molly Edwards.
Hi Molly, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I moved to Atlanta in the summer of 2015 and worked at a recruiting firm for the first year and a half of my time here. I knew it was not where I ultimately belonged, and I also knew I had always been interested in real estate. I started to feel that if I was going to give real estate a shot, that was my time to do it. I began taking my pre-license courses in my car every day on my lunch break until I was able to get fully licensed in the fall of 2016 and leave my full-time job. I was an individual agent with Keller Williams for three years, then spent the following two years as a buyer’s agent on a large team. After gaining the necessary skills and expertise, I started a team in October of 2021 with three other women and it has been the best decision I’ve ever made!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Real estate is an ever-changing industry and every transaction presents new challenges. That being said, it has taken time and error to learn how to be the best agent I can be. I enjoy this industry because I will always be encouraged to learn and stay up-to-date with the market.
As you know, we’re big fans of The Sadoti Group at Keller Williams Peachtree Road. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I started The Sadoti Group just over a year ago with three other women. We are all full-time agents with a combined 40+ years of experience in the Atlanta market. We sell residential real estate across all of metro Atlanta and across all price points. We work with buyers, sellers, and investors. Our clients range all the way from first-time buyers to empty nesters, and we love to create positive experiences for each of them.
Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Every once in a while, great opportunities in real estate will fall in your lap. However, the majority of the time, I believe that great opportunities come from doing the right activities, staying motivated, and continually growing and learning.
