Today we’d like to introduce you to Monica Swint.
Hi Monica, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Actually, Monica Swint Consulting, LLC is a pivot from a previous health and wellness business where we provided IV vitamin therapy within our communities. That business was an introduction to a bigger need within the Medspa/Health community. I had worked in the beauty industry since the age of 14, where I was a shampoo girl for a well-known hairstylist in the New Orleans area. I was introduced to the importance of health/beauty wellness in the spa setting. The impact that we are making within the wellness/beauty industry is what keeps us driven.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Being a woman and of color, sometimes I’m not taken seriously, which means I have to work harder. I always have to prove and go the extra mile to demonstrate I am qualified.
As you know, we’re big fans of Monica Swint Consulting. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Through Monica Swint Consulting, LLC brand, We help Med Spa/Drip business owners grow and expand into a more profitable business. We help find all the money that they are leaving on the table! Also, sharing practical solutions that allow clients to up-level their thinking and learn efficient and scalable skills, increasing awareness and helping them build towards a successful nursing career in the hospital setting/medspa industry. My team and I also consult physicians and assist with integrating an Infusion Center into their existing practice.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
What I love about Atlanta, it’s always a networking event that I can attend seven days a week to help grow in business. The thing I like the least in our city is the traffic!
