Meet Nadia White

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nadia White.

Nadia, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born and raised in Texas but recently moved to Atlanta last year with my husband, Ryan White. We got engaged in 2017 and got married in March of this year.

This past summer, I finally took the leap of faith and quit my 9-5 job and went full time into working as a Digital Influencer. The journey to me getting there was not always easy. In fact, I spent the last five years working a 9-5 job and was living paycheck to paycheck every month. I would have never have imagined that I would be where I am at today getting paid to travel and post on social media.

Growing up, my family always encouraged and inspired me to spend my money on memories and not materialistic things. So I spent a lot of time working and saving my money up to buy plane tickets so that I could travel around as much as I could. I remember when I was younger, hearing about entrepreneurs and how they work for themselves and always thought that would be a dream job but could never happen for me.

My fitness journey is definitely a huge part of what reshaped my entire life. Not only did I lose over 25 lbs of weight but I also was able to lose a negative mindset and an extremely unhealthy lifestyle. I made a huge cut out of all the people in my life that were toxic and harmful to my health and success. It was in the midst of this health journey that I finally began to love myself again. It really inspired me to want to share my story and testimony with other women who were struggling with insecurities, anxiety, depression and getting themselves to the gym. The more I began sharing my story and opening up more on social media, I began to develop quite a big following of women and men that were inspired by my transformation.

I spent the next few years networking and connecting myself with other likeminded people who were already successful in the space I was in. Between that and my husband launching his Social Media Marketing Agency in 2017, I was pushing forward like I never had before. I started working with more and more brands and eventually, I was able to quit my job and work full time as a Social Media Influencer. It was by no means an overnight success story. I had to put a lot of hard work and stay consistent in my hustle to be successful in this space. Hard work, determination, and a huge support system has 100% gotten me to where I am today.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I would say the biggest challenge was changing my whole mindset. I have a tremendous amount of constant support from my husband, family, and friends of course, that made the whole transition very easy. The hard part was taking the real leap of faith and diving really deep into the whole space. It’s a different hustle when that is your full-time job versus just a side thing.

I think I can speak for a lot of people my age that grew up with the mindset of work being the 9-5 job. You get used to getting paid a certain way and even living for the weekends. When you are an entrepreneur or an influencer, you are definitely working from anywhere in the world as long as you have some wifi to connect to. Your mindset changes from the whole “clocking in and clocking out” routine to now you are your own boss and you get to call the shots and make your own money moves.

What do you do, what do you specialize in, what are you known for, etc. What are you most proud of as a company? What sets you apart from others?
I work on many social media platforms as a digital influencer who works with business and personal brands to get them more exposure and reach a larger audience.

I’m known for working with large brands like Bang Energy, Puma Sports, Revolve, etc. through influencer campaigns which helps bring them brand awareness and generate an ROI.

When I set out on this journey, I never imagined working with companies of this significance. I’m extremely grateful and proud to be where I am at today.

What sets me apart from other influencers is the fact that I only take on brand deals that I truly believe in. This allows me to make sure that when I create content for a particular company, my sincerity and genuine care for the brand shines.

Many influencers will take on any projects that come their way because they are in it for the financial benefit, but for me, this is just an added bonus to the fact that I get to put my own stamp on some of the biggest brands in the market that I have used for a majority of my life.
