Meet Nakeisha Jones of Premier Business Solutions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nakeisha Jones.

Nakeisha, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Working in corporate America for over 10 years, and handling millions of dollars in budgets, I found that the concepts and principles used in corporate America could also be implemented into small businesses on their so that they can grow.

Premier Business Solutions was launched this year on January 16, 2019. It is a rebranding from Premier Accounting Services that began back in 2009.

I found that after focusing on “the accounting” of our clients, that there was so much more to the business than just the accounting and business owners weren’t focusing on what really matters and that’s their clients/customers – enter Premier Business Solutions. Seeing a small business owner be completely relieved when we can handle the most tedious part of their business, makes me feel amazing. Seeing a personal client develop a plan for their finances, and become debt free makes doing business worth it.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothing in business is ever smooth. There have definitely been some rough roads traveled along the way. Initially, it was getting the business out there; letting everyone that we existed, and just making a profit.

Another struggle was ensuring that I had the right systems in place for our clients. Systems in business are so important. It makes running your business so much easier.  It is imperative that the systems chosen were simple for anyone on their staff to use and easily integrated into their daily operations. We went through a few systems and have finally found the right one.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Premier Business Solutions – what should we know?
Premier Business Solutions i specializes in individual and business financial development. We offer accounting, tax and business solutions for our clients – from individual tax, business formation to payroll solutions, to nonprofit solutions. We want to ensure that our clients are able to streamline processes and maximize every dollar personally and for their businesses.

We desire to provide an atmosphere of professionalism, reliability, and quality solutions that will help them take their business to the next level. We are also a virtual company. It is important to us that I our clients reach us when they need us.

We are most known for and what sets us apart is that we take our time and educating our clients on what their tax returns mean, and how their business profit and loss statements tell them a story about the financial health of their businesses. We never want our clients to leave without knowing the “state” of their individual and business affairs.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I’ve had some amazing people on my side during this entire process. Beginning with my family and friends, they have ALWAYS been my support system from praying for me and the business as well as being clients of mine.

My husband, and my partner in life James Jones. He has dealt with me during tax season where I am just about “non-existent’ to ensure my clients get what they need from me. He has been supportive and huge help.

Karyn Thomas – she was the first small business owner that I worked for back in 2006. She mentored me through the payroll, accounting, and tax processes. Working with her inspired me to start my business in 2009. She has been super supportive for over the last ten years, and I am very grateful.

My clients – they are truly amazing. They have been the reason for the growth of this business. They have referred all of their family members and friends. I could not do what I am doing without them. I truly appreciate them.

I owe all my success, the growth of me personally, and in business to God. I could do nothing without Him.
