Meet Na’shon Smith of Atlanta, Georgia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Na’shon Smith

Hi Na’shon, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Rapper/songwriter born Na’shon Smith, on April 17th, in Atlantic City New Jersey is one of ATL’s best unsigned artist of 2024. Bless is the oldest of five and started freestyling as a hobby at the age of 9; this is a form of unwritten rap where lyrics are said as you think them. Encouragement from his step father, gave him the confidence to study music & perfect his craft. At the tender age 14 the New Jersey native relocated to Atlanta, Ga. with his Mom and family, where he attended school in DeKalb County.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not long after, Bless was incarcerated and welcomed his first born, a precious baby girl, into the world. He used his time to re-evaluate his life’s path and develop himself as a person and an artist. After his release, Bless was asked, “What was the most important thing you learned from being in prison?” he replied, “You can never put a price on freedom.” A message he plans to pass through his music. Bless has his boots on the ground and is heading for success.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Bless began to take music serious after collaborating with DJ Farenheit for the release of his first studio release: “How bad u want it”. He started to make a name for himself in 2019 as the opening act for Grammy nominated artist Lil’ Durk at the house of blues in Atlantic city.

What makes you happy?
The center of my happiness is creating memories with family! spending time with my children is my biggest inspiration when it comes to making music. also My mom jus recently remarried and seeing her happy brings me so much joy! big shout out to MAMABLESS!
