Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Jenkins.
Hi Natasha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a Long Island native, nineteen-year pro makeup artist, born and raised in New York. I’ve always been fascinated with beauty and fashion as they were undoubtedly my first love. I had the wonderful opportunity of watching my late mother also a professional makeup artist, dressing in the latest fashion and beauty trends. My mother had the same hunger and drive that embodies me on the daily. After attending a local community college majoring in fashion and merchandising, at the tender age of eighteen, I decided to drop out of college to pursue my very own career in makeup artistry full time. Working alongside various companies such as MAC, YSL, GIORGIO ARMANI, BOBBI BROWN, and CHRISTIAN DIOR I obtained plenty of knowledge that would later help jumpstart my career. On my free time, I networked with other creatives as well as stayed up to date with what was hot or not in all thing’s beauty and fashion. I’ve worked with celebrities such as 50 cent, Chris Brown and many other high fashion models accompanied by well-known photographers! With years of groundwork to grow and excel efficiently within my industry of artistry, My work has been featured on over several magazine covers, a commercial campaign for Nestle, MTV, BET, I also acquired a billboard located in my native city New York, Times Square just this past September of 2021.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
It definitely was NOT a smooth road. It was the complete opposite! My journey had many ups and downs, which shaped me into the woman I am today. My life completely changed in 2016 when I lost my mother at the tender age of 52. I was able to take my pain and turn it into “Power & Profit”. I know how proud my mother was of me and my career, I just want to continue to make her proud and that’s what I’ll continue to do!

I am a professional Makeup Artist. I host private networking brunches, I can be booked for Photoshoots; Editorials, Male grooming, Personal assisting, Bridal makeup, one on one makeup sessions and group makeup sessions. I like to call myself a well-established entrepreneur, I recently launched my beauty line “Beauty by Clutch”, Which I am very proud of.
“Beauty by Clutch” was launched in August 2020 at the peak of a global pandemic. My cosmetic company hallmarks the essence of amazing quality makeup products such as; Vegan skincare, lipstick, velvet lip liners, lip gloss, vitamin E sticks and even merchandise! Selling out over four times this past year alone, “Clutch Life” merchandise includes: Unisex hoodies, T-shirts, Tote bags, joggers, trucker hats, beanies and more.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was very much the cool kid. I loved music, Fashion, Shopping and spending time with my friends. I never thought I was better I just knew I was different, I was always outspoken and never had an issue with letting someone know how I felt. I had and still have a very strong personality. I think it’s important to always stand up for what you believe in no matter what anyone may think.
