Meet Natrosha Miller of Love Thy Sistahood and Social Sis Media in South

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natrosha Miller.

Natrosha, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was born and raised in a small town of Laurel, Mississippi. I relocated to south of Atlanta in 2005 for a career better opportunity. While working a full-time job, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Strayer University in 2011 as a full-time student for three years.

After a failed two years of marriage, I went through years of depression and anxiety. After I rededicated my life to God and founded a sisterhood community to encourage and connect with other like-minded women of faith across the globe named Love Thy Sistahs of June 2005, now known as Love Thy Sistahood LLC. In 2017, I contributed as the author of Wake, Pray and Slay, a compilation of stories of 15 unstoppable women that overcame insurmountable life circumstances to achieve unfathomable success.

Although, I had a professional career in human resources management, I felt the desire to do something more fulfilling so I created a plan and saved up my money. In 2019, and stepped out on faith purposefully and I resigned from my corporate position to become a full time CEO of Love Thy Sistahood LLC, and a Certified Life Coach. Later, I discovered other talents and gifts where I also started a small business; Social Sis Media, where I help small businesses grow online. My faith, determination and consistency are the key contributing factors to my success thus far as an entrepreneur and small business owner.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a very bumpy road along the way. It was a difficult transition in the beginning for me as a full time 9-5 job to a full time entrepreneur. My normal work schedule had completely changed and I wasn’t prepared as I thought I was. For example, from traveling to work to now traveling to my home office. It took some time for me to accept my “new norm” as an entrepreneur. I believe it was changing the mindset from an employee to now the employer.

Love Thy Sistahood and Social Sis Media – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Love Thy Sistahood LLC is an accountable offline and online community for women of faith to connect, learn and grow successful in life. I am an Accountable Coach that holds women accountable for their best success through events, coaching sessions, programs, challenges, and etc. Our vision is to enable a positive change for women to develop personally, empower spiritually and build healthy relationships in sistahs. In June of 2020, we are celebrating our 5th anniversary of love, faith and sisterhood.

Social Sis Media is social media marketing services for small businesses to help grow online through services including social media branding, coaching and management. I am most proud of the reputation of great customer services and great quality of work through client’s reviews. My consistent brand is what I believe sets me apart from others due to my ability to remain relevant to my clients on and off social media.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood is long talks on the porch with my great grandmother who raised me until I was 12 years old.
