Today we’d like to introduce you to Nic Seibert.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Nic. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
We are Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals! We started in 2007 with only 16 cabins to manage, and have grown to manage 167 today! Our roots are planted in Blue Ridge, where we started, and have remained for ten years. First, we were in a lower level unit of a building, then moved to the top floor unit, and then into our current office in 2008 on the corner of 515 and old highway 76. We set out to provide high-quality cabins at affordable cost, so everyone could enjoy a stay in the great Appalachian Mountains.
We have lots of cabins under $100 per night perfect for a small family or couples quick retreat, all the way up to massive cabins that sleep over 20 people! We have quickly grown into north Georgia’s vacation rental leader by providing outstanding customer service, fair and friendly business antics, and housekeeping standards that are second to none. We are still adolescent in our growth and hope to reach 200 cabins within the next 6 months. We absolutely love what we do, and hope we get to provide YOU with an amazing getaway to the mountains!
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
A challenge our company has faced is simply trying to keep up with technology and the changing times. With emerging 3rd party listing sights and regional listing sites, it can be challenging to keep up with what is relevant to our growth and what other companies we can benefit from the most. The shift from storefront to mostly online interactions has also actually loosened some of the obstacles we have faced such as providing a direct check-in to the cabin without ever setting foot in our office. Guest are able to make their reservation online and receive all the pertinent information via email like directions, door code, etc., so they can go directly to the cabin on their day of arrival.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We pride ourselves in giving outstanding customer service, fair and friendly business antics, and housekeeping standards that are second to none. Christianity has always been a major element in the way we do business. We believe in providing the best possible experience by any means necessary, and will always go the extra mile for our guest to ensure they get exactly that. We have the widest selection on vacation rental cabins in North Georgia from cabins starting under $100 a night to cabins big enough to sleep over 20 people!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We hope to continue to grow as the sky is the limit! Within the next 6 months, we hope to have over 200 cabins. As our company adjusts to the shift of the majority of customer interactions being online, we are integrating personal touches to keep the process human and not completely automated.

Stay away from Mountain Laurel Cabin Rentals if you don’t want a chance of a ruined vacation. They maintain some dirty and unacceptable properties. Additionally, they can cancel your reservation just days before your arrival because someone else will book for the whole week.
