Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Bugara.
Nick, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was born in Massachusetts but grew up in Brazil before moving to Georgia in 1998 at the age of 10. I’ve always been interested in tech – my earliest memories are being creative and playing with techy toys like my N64, Digimon, and Legos, so I suppose I was always interested in the tech world! I graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Economics & International Business degree and shortly thereafter found myself working in the IT realm. My next job took me to the app development world, where I learned everything that I could about the process of developing custom apps for our customers. After spending four years learning the ins-and-outs of the app development world, I set out to start the best app development company that a customer could ask for after months of preparation launched Appsketiers on August 15th, 2017. Since then, we’ve started the development of just over 1000 unique applications with more projects launching every week.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It wasn’t a smooth road! The beauty of custom app development is that every day you’re faced with new challenges. Every customer has a unique app idea and our Appsketiers need to think outside of the box to solve problems and deliver a quality product. Although bumpy at times, it’s without a doubt quite rewarding.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
The way that I define success is through the happiness of my clients. Our goal as a company is to deliver quality products at an affordable price. When we receive a positive review online, it reassures us that we are on the right track. When one of our apps hits the Apple and Android market, we celebrate as a team. That is when the champagne comes out!
