Today we’d like to introduce you to Nick Erickson.
Pop’s Garage Fabrication started as a home business working out of Nick’s garage behind the house in 2013. After working at Fuller’s Hot Rod shop in Atlanta for a handful of years working there he decided to venture out on his own. Shortly after starting up Pop’s Garage Fabrication, Nick won several big awards at the annual Sturgis motorcycle rally and was featured in several magazines. After a handful of years working behind the house, the business had outgrown the space and the new location was built. We are still putting out award winning bikes today and have grown to love the town of Roswell.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road to where we are today has been a little bumpy, some projects go smoother than others and some have a tendency to consume the entire shop. High-pressure build offs have put a lot of stress on the team but at the end of those battles, the overwhelming satisfaction of seeing people react to the motorcycle with such enthusiasm and joy is worth it!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Pop’s Garage Fabrication – what should we know?
Pop’s Garage Fabrication is a full service and repair shop for v-twin motorcycles. We also build custom motorcycles and do fabrication work on most types of motorcycles. We have two MMI Certified Harley Davidson Technicians in a house, so no job is too big or too small. We have a full machine shop in a house and can whip just about anything you need for motorcycle right here! We have a large retail space and a really cool online shop where all of our apparel and gear are for sale! We have built several awards winning bikes and in 2018 we even got the opportunity to be given a motorcycle by Harley Davidson and show it at their museum for the 115th Anniversary in Milwaukee!
