Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole D. Evans.
Hi Nicole, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I consider myself “a rose that grew from concrete”— the phrase that encompasses resilience, strength, and the will to grow and surpass society’s expectations of what a survivor of abuse should resemble and achieve. I started as someone who encouraged myself, then those who found themselves on the same path as myself. Speaking life and purpose as much as I could and seeing the impact of my words blossom into tangible expressions. I saw this repeatedly, and it was then that I recognized the gifts of coaching, mentoring, and teaching others how to understand who they are and experience life through that lens. Because of this, I became a life coach but my focus is Execution. I am an Execution Coach who helps people get things done. Like a project manager for people. From goals, projects, visions, etc… I help people execute what they envision with a strategy and plan.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been an interesting road. Challenges have not been non-existent. From lack of resources (because I was new) or not knowing which direction or specific tasks should prioritize over others (based on where I wanted to be). Initially, support was an issue as well. But I quickly shifted my mindset to focus on my goals in business and serving others in their goals, than focusing on who wasn’t supporting me.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Nicole Evans Enterprises?
I am an Execution Coach helping people, executives and business owners execute goals and visions. I am a consultant who helps organizations and companies increase employee productivity and project completion.
I am a published author. I recently privileged my 4th book, “Getting it Done: A Guide to Effective Execution for Christians” (available now) and I’m working on my fifth book now! This book is focused on helping executives, business owners, and leaders to increase execution with my signature framework. I also lead anthologies for women who want to share their stories.
I’m most proud of the transformation my clients have made because of my work and the impact they are making because of their transformation. What sets me apart from other productivity coaches is not education, Master’s Degree, or experience, but my passion to help people see their visions come to life. Passion is what sets me apart and helps me commit to my clients until they receive what they came to me for. Or more.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is take time to rest. As a high performer and even an execution coach, teaching others to get things done, it is sometimes difficult for me to take a break. I have to schedule it for it to happen—much like I schedule work. If rest isn’t priority, then it will affect my health and that affects my work.
