Niekiha, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I started my lifestyle brand, Eunoia by Nikki, during the Pandemic! Through my social media blog and platform, Daily by Nikki, I was already selling stationary merchandise like planners, journals and affirmation cards. The pandemic ignited my creativity and desire for MORE. Expanding my brand to include Eunoia by Nikki felt like a great compliment and a way to merge my love for self-care, personal development and style effortlessly.
I started my brand Daily by Nikki D, back in 2016. As a former reality TV personality, I wanted to connect my audience off the television screen so they could get a REAL idea of who I was and what I cared about. Reality TV has a funny way of showing someone’s “real” life for 2 minutes and molding people’s perceptions based on how the editor wants the “story” told. Not having the power over my own story drove me towards wanting to share it on my own platform. It was through my blog, Daily by Nikki D, that I found my purpose in inspiring multilayered women like myself. It was through my blog that I developed and exercised my real voice.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Along the way, I have faced so many obstacles. Constantly battling my own doubts around authenticity and putting myself out there. Reality TV made it incredibly difficult for me to show up as myself and feel 100% comfortable. In the last few years, I have had to be intentional about self-healing and mental-wellness. I have had to redefine what success looks like for me.
With my brand, Eunoia by Nikki- I design and manage the production of all of my products. From apparel and accessories to stationary, all of my items tell a story or send a message. Being the facilitator of all of the roles in your business can be heard. Learning how to balance your time, ignite your creative energy and still manage the logistics of a business is HARD. I have had to learn to set clear boundaries with myself and with others around me.
Getting my audience to take me seriously as a brand aside from TV was and is still challenging. Social media can be a very “busy” place and finding ways to clearly define your message, your brand and still remain YOU is difficult. I continue to show up boldly in every space I occupy by sharing my voice and sharing products that inspire.

Eunoia by Nikki is a lifestyle brand that celebrates multilayered women in pursuit of self-care, self-improvement and self-wellness unapologetically. From apparel and accessories to stationary, the brand highlights the idea of self-wellness from a woman-centric space.
Every month, a curated capsule of items is released on the website aligning with a different wellness theme. The month of January’s capsule is on reset and refresh with loungewear, accessories and journals all aligned with recharging and resetting for the New Year.
In January, the new day-planner, Pause, will be highlighted. The planner is an undated, 300-page productivity tool that allows women to plan and prioritize their day with intention.

Above all, my husband has been my biggest support system. As someone who has been with me every step of the way, he never ceases to amaze me with how hands-on he is in my business. From assisting with photo shoots to mailing customer orders, my husband has always gone above and beyond to see me win. He supports all of my goals, helps me to achieve my dreams and acts as a sounding board when things get rough. Without the help and unconditional support of my husband, I may have given up on pursuing my dream of launching this lifestyle brand.
