Meet Noelia Belman of Pulso Fitness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Noelia Belman.

Noelia Belman

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Pulso Fitness was born through passion that ran through our family for martial arts. My kids did MMA for a majority of their childhood into their teenage years. My husband and I joined them shortly after and grew an enormous love for the sport and saw how close it brought us together. We wanted to do the same for other communities and that’s how we knew we wanted to use this sport to do it. My husband and I, however, had a deeper love for boxing and wanted to further our knowledge to be able to teach it. Boxing is the sport we decided to base our gym around. We are still growing every day but we worked very hard and have built such a loving and resilient community with our studio.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest struggle I dealt with was the anxiety that it all brought me. It was just me and my family and our own money going into something that could have the possibility of not going perfectly. I wanted everyone to come into my gym and feel welcomed and want to spend their time here. Thankfully, I have had great luck and built exactly what I pictured. But I definitely did deal with that stress and anxiety in the beginning of our journey.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Pulso Fitness?
Pulso Fitness is a family-oriented boxing and kickboxing gym. What makes us special is how many options we provide for our patrons. We provide classes for those who would like to have a guided workout/training session as well as equipment for members who prefer to practice on their own. Along with our classes, we aid members in tracking their personal fitness journeys with weigh-ins and professional nutrition advice. We also sell our own clothing line in-house and are licensed Title Boxing resellers so members will be able to get any and all gear in our business. We are very proud of the homey feeling we provide and the community that we have built around the beautiful sport of boxing.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
The Covid-19 Pandemic for sure played a role in our “good luck”. We opened in the beginning of 2022, which was the time that I feel like everyone was tired of staying home and wanted to get out and work on themselves again. With that, we welcomed a lot of people with major goals. Along with that, Covid gave us the time to really plan out our goals for the gym and go into it strong.
