Hi Omari, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
It all started in a classroom 12 years ago with a substitute professor at Virginia State University.
“Perspective is enriching to the soul”, and with a camera you have a lot of it.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Smooth road… hahaha
I love the bumpy road I’m traveling on and have walked…
Nothing in life comes easy if it did we would all be on the top!!

I am a Director of College & Career Counseling.
My goal is to provide our black & brown students with the knowledge & keys to be successful. College isn’t for everyone; be a trailblazer!!
We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
Our health is very, very important, and it’s more a deeper dive into living a better life.
