Today we’d like to introduce you to Pacita Wilson.
Pacita, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My design career began in Cocoa Village, Florida, where we were blessed to open our first location, Pacita’s Home Collection. After several years of prayer, my family and I relocated to Woodstock, GA, where through the grace of God Pineapple Park became a sought-out design destination for our sweet clients near and far. Now I am on a new part of my journey with the launch of a new and exciting furniture line called Pineapple Park Home. I am beyond excited to see where this new adventure will lead.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Relocating our entire family to chase after a dream was probably one of the biggest challenges that I have faced during my twenty-one year career. It has also proven to be one of our greatest blessings with the Pineapple Park family that we have been gifted with including staff, clients, vendors and friends.
Please tell us about Pineapple Park.
The company we have built is much more than an interior design firm. We create rooms that turn houses into homes. It’s more than arranging furniture and choosing wall treatments. My goal is to provide a client specific atmosphere that encompasses the feeling of “home”. That sums up my heartfelt desire for every client that walks through our doors.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
One of my favorite childhood memories is when our entire family went on vacation to Nashville with only a toothbrush and toothpaste! We bought everything we needed when we got there. I will never forget that!!
