Today we’d like to introduce you to Pasqualé Domain.
Hi Pasqualé, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I began my start with modeling back in 2019 around the summer of June. I was invited to an exposé, happening in Lafayette, Louisiana by a fellow model I knew prior to the experience. After the initial shoot, the opportunities began to unfold before me; proceeding forward I was booked for shows from Baton Rouge to New Orleans. Following this, I began to expand to Atlanta where I had my first fashion show during Pride Week. Approximately 10 months later I moved to Decatur, where I now reside.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The initial journey into the craft was fun, exhilarating, and a great learning experience.; the only time challenges arose during the growing experience were through my own self-critical thinking about how I felt inadequate in some ways when all I wanted to be was versatile in every aspect. I have learned to accept myself as a perfectionist, hence why satisfaction involving things I do comes very seldom.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a model, who writes music and is also into the film world of acting. I got my start creatively with writing rhymes back in grade school, which blossomed into writing stories, and songs. Later modeling took its course after college, and acting got its turn with me once I made it to Atlanta approximately two and a half years ago. Altogether the conglomerate of the crafts I practice makes me the most the proud; juggling what I love and making it into a lifestyle and a living is the ultimate goal.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
I would tell anyone who feels they want to venture further into their crafts that God listens to you. Once you tell him this is what you want he will test you fully to see if one you are ready, and two if this is in your heart of hearts that you feel is necessary for your happiness on this earth.
