Meet Patrice Smith

Today we’d like to introduce you to Patrice Smith.

Hi Patrice, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
How I became an entrepreneur, becoming an entrepreneur was just destined for me. I always knew how to make any type of money doing things I love. I just never had the guidance of how to go about it. I started my first business when I was 15 years old, from there I took multiple courses in business, marketing & accounting. Got my associate’s degree in international business and from there, it was up! I started my first legit LLC with mink lashes extensions in the middle of a pandemic. Surprisingly the clientele flooded in. This industry was so saturated. I remained in my own lane and the money came in abundance. My second business is my Travel chef business.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
For both businesses, they have their days, weeks and months. Some months I’m making over 5+ figures and some days I want to quit and clock in somewhere. But that’s not an option for me! So I go back to the drawing board. Whenever you’re dealing with customer service and handling people’s money and events and even eyes (lash business). You can not satisfy everyone. You’ll have off days where you’re not performing your best and it reflects in your output in your work. It’s honestly embarrassing because running your business you have no run for screw ups lol!

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a private traveling chef 8 months out of the 12. I travel back and forth between Atlanta and Miami. 5/12 months I am an inhome chef for well-known NFL players and Recording Artists.

When I am home and stable, I am Miss Minkgala. I am a Luxury lash technician in the metro Atlanta area.

I’m most proud of looking back at my resume, portfolio and I amaze myself every time. The profile of people I’ve catered and serviced you would be amazed. But I never want to be known for doing celebrity services. I’m just Chef waves and Minkgala.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
A piece of Advice I want to share with readers. Whatever you want to do dive in head first worry about swimming later. Because waiting on approval of others you’ll never get started in what you want to do.
