Today we’d like to introduce you to Paula and Chris Millsapp.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Chris started doing photography in 2008 and in 2010 I came into the picture and started experimenting with makeup on myself and then moved on to models in 2012. In 2016, we moved to Atlanta and started working with local modeling agencies. Since then we have expanded into the fashion industry and are now partnered with TUC Fashion Week. We have also been featured in Photovogue of Vogue Italia múltiple times and we’ve been published in several paper and digital magazines.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As with any business venture, there are hiccups but we have met so many great people that make it all worth it. The connections you make in this industry are priceless.
C. Millsapp Photography – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are a husband and wife duo. Chris is the photographer and editor and I do the makeup and take some occasional shots. We are proud of our work ethic and the quality of work we provide. Since we work as a team, we provide a great flow that makes working with us a great experience.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
We would say our proudest moment so far has been making the major move to Atlanta, Georgia and making things happen for our business. We left the familiarity of Anderson, South Carolina and started a new venture in a larger city where we could grow our craft.
