Meet Justin Morgan of Pointview Branding & Services

Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Morgan.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I’m not sure where to start, I think I have a fairly simply life, but I have significant milestones and support systems that make me the unique person that I am. At the least, I’m just a guy from the Soufside of Atlanta, and at the most I’m a Husband, Family Man, Entrepreneur, IT Professional, Business Owner, Graphic Designer, Supporter, Investor, Model, Podcaster and a wealth of other titles I can think of, but I don’t think that defines me. I’m looking to build a legacy for my family.

One of my best attributes is “execution” and my mantra towards challenging myself is, “why not?”. Even in high-school (shout-out to Mundy’s Mill High School) I didn’t see myself as the typical monotonous “Corporate America Guy”, I saw myself as a Businessman that owned numerous businesses and ventures – and that tiny bit of subconscious reiteration is continuing to allow my dreams to come to fruition.

I started graphic designing in college; I literally started playing with photoshop in my off-time in Georgia State University’s library out of boredom, and now that I’ve honed my skills and practiced, I’ve become a decent Graphic Designer. With Graphic Design, I provide many ancillary services such as creating websites, logos, flyers, and etc.; which also allowed me to create my own e-Commerce store – RAW ATL. I’m also a signed Model at BMG, where I have been for years, and I work in Corporate America as a Project Manager. My podcast is a personification of who I am as well, I love to make people laugh and that’s what my co-host and I try to do on the Lazy Ego Podcast.

A lot of my “gigs” are culminated from what I’ve always been interested in, and they’ve finally come to fruition. You might ask, what’s next? You’ll have to wait and see!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
With every new skill you learn, you’re bound to run into challenges. I wouldn’t call my short-comings “struggles”; I’d call them learning lessons because I improved after every iteration. As a business owner and service provider, I would suggest everyone to require a “deposit” before the work begins. I learned not to focus on “perfection” but always trying your best and requesting feedback from your client.

I’m a businessman, so I’ve always had a focus on customer service, but for anyone who’s reading this, I would suggest making customer service and communication your #1 priority. One of my favorite quotes as of late is, “don’t accept criticism from someone you wouldn’t take advice from”; this spoke to me because you won’t always have a client/customer that you enjoy, but if you’re confident in the value you provide – those undesirable experiences don’t matter.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about Pointview Branding & Services – RAW ATL, Graphic Design, and Consulting – what should we know?
My company Pointview Branding & Services provides a plethora of services: Graphic Design, Website Design, Logo, Flyers, e-Commerce, merchandise vending services, RAW ATL and Consulting Services. I also have a Podcast and model for BMG.

What sets my podcast apart from all others is that my co-host and I are actually planning on getting into Comedy, we create comedic content, and we don’t often talk about current events. We talk about what’s going on in our daily ridiculous lives and provide a comedic perspective. Each episode, you’re bound to laugh, question yourself, and consider a different viewpoint on a range of topics.

Pointview Branding & Services is unique because we provide an entire suite for services; we’re a one-stop-shop for most brand needs, and we’re usually below market price and faster than market delivery. RAW ATL is unique, in itself, because I create these designs personally; I’m influenced by current trends, fashionable simplicity, and rarity. I’ve always wanted to have my own Tee Shirt Company; now, with technology, it came to fruition. At my store, there’s something for everyone.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
To be honest, everyone deserves credit. My Amazing Parents for raising me and instilling Entrepreneurship in me at a young age, my Amazing Wife for always being my number one supporter, my close friends and family for allowing me to be who I am, my associates for championing my success from a distance, and everyone who disliked and doubted me because they encourage me every day to prove them wrong.
