Meet Princess

Today we’d like to introduce you to Princess.

Hi Princess, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, My name is Princess, but artistically most people know me as Princess “La Tremenda”, a Singer/Songwriter. I wear many hats, Musician, Medical Language interpreter, Massage Therapist and my favorite of all, V-steam Facilitator and Founder of Yoni Throni Wellness Inc.

Born in Brooklyn, New York but raised in sunny San Diego, California. I grew up between the best of both worlds. The global vibrancy of NYC mixed with Laidback charm of San Diego definitely influenced my tastes in everything.

In Brooklyn, I was gloriously surrounded mostly by Caribbean Immigrants and exposed to all of their wonderful music. I’d listen to everything from American R&B/ Soul, Jazz, Salsa, Konpa, Reggae, Dancehall, Soca and more. I was always excited to sing along with the sounds around me and thus began my fascination with Linguistics. I was definitely blessed to have been surrounded every summer with the sounds of Patois, Spanish, Kreyol, French and more. Brooklyn has always inspired me. Back in San Diego, I had East African, Asian and Middle Eastern cultures. I basically grew up wrapped in culture and I loved it.

The contrast between living in San Diego and summers in Brooklyn was major. San Diego was clean and safe and almost sterile compared to NYC. But this was the earth from which my musical tastes grew. I spent many years in different musical groups singing everything from Cuban Salsa and Rumba to Brazilian Samba to Motown. I moved to Spain to learn Spanish and later to Brazil to learn Portuguese. I began performing in different countries. Most notably, Carnaval in Brazil various times, but 2014 landed me as a finalist on The Voice Brasil and performing alongside some of the countries greatest musicians.

For me, culture has always been a driving force. Seeing people that looked like me but that were from other cultures enriches my spirit. I have traveled to various countries In the Americas as well as Europe and soon Africa.

All of these cultural exchanges lead me to the Korean culture of Chai Yok or Vaginal Steaming. and to building my business Yoni Throni Inc., a wellness, spa and lifestyle business where I handmake V-steam thrones from wood. After becoming certified in Vaginal steaming I began selling homemade Organic Herbal blends for women to steam with from the comfort of their homes. We throw spa parties where women can have Massage Therapy as well as other spa therapies added to their steam sessions.

I have a busy life and soon will head off to Brazil for another round of shows and cultural exchange.

Music and V-Steam……I guess that’s my Tremendous Life!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve definitely lost loads of money. Definitely dealt with frenemies and unscrupulous business people.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Musician (Singer) as well as a holistic wellness practitioner for my V-Steam/Spa business Yoni Throni. As far as music I’m. a World music artist specializing in Afro-Latin music. I’m most proud of following my dreams and allowing them to take me around the world with music and learning other languages as I did it.

As far as my company, I’m proud of my physical ability for woodworking and my business acumen to trademark and fully legitimize and insure my business, I didn’t come to play or be sure lol. “I wanna thank ME”.
