Meet Quan Lanae Green

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quan Lanae Green.

Quan Lanae, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was raised in the housing projects of Poughkeepsie, New York and grew up poor and on welfare. Over the course of 14 years, I worked my way through the trenches and attained great success as an entrepreneur. I now earn six-figures investing in real estate and stocks, am an investment partner of a luxurious resort in Costa Rica, and have been recognized as one of the most inspirational empowerment leaders around the world.

I have been dedicated to achieving massive success, both in business and in my personal life. I worked my way from the ghetto to fabulous and am now living the life of my dreams. Over the last decade, I have devoted my time and energy to personal and spiritual development, in order to overcome the poor habits and trauma of my past. I spent 14 years walking with God, devouring books and educational videos, going to therapy and traveling the world, all with the intention of becoming a better woman, wife, mother, and leader. As a life coach, I condensed 14 years of hard-won knowledge into my coaching practice in order to help my clients make lasting change in their lives.

In addition to being a businesswoman, investor, and life coach, I am the author of From Poughkeepsie to Paris: A Ghetto Girl’s Journey to Becoming a Fabulous Woman, a motivational memoir that teaches and encourages others to overcome childhood trauma in order to become successful and live a purposeful life.

I believe every person on this planet was created for greatness and that God created everyone for a divine purpose. My purpose is to inspire, encourage and teach others to accomplish great things for God, change the trajectories of their families, and attain massive wealth. I am committed to utilizing all of my life’s experiences, success and knowledge to fulfill my purpose and help others fulfill theirs.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Business and life, in general, is never a smooth road. It is filled with potholes, detours, traffic, standstills, and, if you’re able to get through all of that successfully, it is filled with the joy of accomplishing your goals and reaching your final destination.

Early on in my entrepreneurial journey, the biggest struggle that I had to overcome was allowing my personal circumstances to stop me from going full-force with my business endeavors. Back then, I didn’t know how to do what I tell my life coaching clients to do today: push through, don’t let anything stop you, stay committed, and figure out a way to get it done. Instead, I would take any inconvenience, every discouragement, every discomfort in my personal life as a sign to stop working on my business. In retrospect, I wasn’t fully committed to seeing the business through.

However, over the last ten years, I’ve learned that the only way to real success in business is staying committed no matter what because the road is never going to be completely smooth. When you’re trying to start and grow a business, you will be tried and tested like never before. But, you’re more than capable of overcoming anything that comes your way. When I got that down into my spirit, my whole life changed. I stopped running from my problems and began to face them head-on with boldness and confidence; knowing that, at the end of it all, if I didn’t give up, I would reach my final destination. And, when I arrive, it would look fabulous!

Thankfully, after years of hard work and continuing to stay the course, I’ve arrived. And, just as I suspected, it looks fabulous!

Please tell us about Quan Lanae Green Enterprises.
Quan Lanae Green Enterprises is an umbrella company that encompasses all five of my income-producing business activities: life coaching, book writing and blogging, public speaking, women’s empowerment retreat hosting, and real estate investing.

Every aspect of my enterprise is aligned with my divine purpose. Essentially, I’ve turned my God-given gifts and talents into a conglomerate that allows me to live an abundant life while teaching and inspiring others to do the same.

As a company, I am most proud of my ability to help people transform their lives through all aspects of my business and various roles. As a life coach, I help my clients get out of their own way and live full, victorious lives. As an author and blogger, I inspire readers to dream bigger and go up higher. As a public speaker, I speak life over my audience and push them to take tremendous leaps of faith. As a women’s empowerment retreat host, I teach women how to overcome their fears and break through the bondage of their past experiences. And as a real estate investor, I provide affordable access to luxurious environments that inspires people to desire and pursue great things.

When most people get into the business, their number one goal is to make money to support themselves and their own families. It’s a rather selfish way of doing business. What sets me apart from other entrepreneurs is that everything I do is about serving and helping others to be the best they can be. I operate out of a place of love and an obsession to see other people win in life. I’m clear about my purpose in life; and, knowing exactly what I’ve been placed on earth to do has helped me attain a tremendous amount of success for not only myself but for everyone who is connected to me.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
I grew up with my grandmother in the housing projects of Poughkeepsie, New York. My mother was addicted to crack cocaine and spent most of my childhood in and out of rehabs. During this time, my father was in college in Connecticut trying to make something of himself. As a result, I rarely got to see him. There were times, however, when he’d surprise me and pick me up from my grandmother’s house and take me to spend the weekend with him in Connecticut. He would take me clothes shopping and out to eat at fancy restaurants. I absolutely loved those childhood moments. In fact, it increases my inner happiness just thinking about it. The question, “What’s your favorite childhood memory?”, is a very powerful one that automatically lifts your mood and vibration. I’m going to start asking my life coaching clients the same thing! Lol!
