Meet Quanasia Henry of Be A Wigaholic

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quanasia Henry.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m a 24 years old entrepreneur from Rochester, NY. I started my wig business in February of 2018 & had no idea it would take off the way it has. I made my own wig one day to avoid having unprofessional hair appointment experiences, to save money & to give my natural hair a break. This wig was loved by all of my classmates. Through mastering social media algorithms & wearing my product, I have now become a 6 figure earner that helps others to achieve financial freedom.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
The journey has not been easy. The hardest part was doing it 100% alone. As the only entrepreneur in my family, coming from poverty, I didn’t have a blueprint to follow.

We’ve been impressed with Be A Wigaholic LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My wig business began in 2018 by specializing in neat/fully customized closure wigs. In 2020, I released my first set of digital products on how to customize & style wigs. Since then, I have created ebooks & courses to assist others on growing their social media platforms, gaining multiple streams of income & anything else I have mastered. A strong faith in God, in myself & an amazing community of supporters are the reasons I am where I am today. My brand has become so much bigger than wigs that I have now retired from offering wigs & coach/mentor on a daily basis. I truly want people to believe in themselves & to keep going, no matter what.

Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
I quit my 9-5 in May of 2020, the start of the pandemic. I was concerned for obvious reasons but had my 1st $17,000 month, which was exactly half of my 9-5’s yearly salary in the month that I quit. God confirmed for me that my leap of faith was the right decision.
