Today we’d like to introduce you to Quincy Casimir
Hi Quincy , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Following moving to Georgia for College, I have came into this new part of my journey with an open mind. I wanted to be able to experience whatever was thrown my way and to receive whatever opportunities was also brought to me. In doing so, I have attempted to join this modeling organization called Infinite Appeal, where they shape new-coming models into actual models and from this I built and befriended a strong network of people with like-minded interests. In my journey as a model, I have met many people with many talents ( photographers, videographers, fellow models, creative directors, etc. ) and seen that there was a lack of community in the industry. With me pitching this idea to one of my friends, Tyler, which is now one of the Founders of our Organization,
we decided to begin to build an Organization that sought out to inspire creatives to come together and showcase their talents and also Influence people who were interested in such creative ventures to get into the field as well. As a founder now, I oversee ALL aspects of the organization and put effort into wherever it is needed. As we continue to expand, we will continue to expand our Influence to others at InfluenceU.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I wish it was as smooth as most think it is, BUT I have learned many things throughout facing the following challenges and challenges that were brought to me. As a Founder, you have to make sure that your team is doing the jobs that they are delegated to, analyze which steps and actions must be taken in order to get to the next level, and more. There have been situations to where we had to replace such EBOARD members due to the lack of professionalism, once we scaled the potential that this Organization has. Although I have gone through many trials and faced many obstacles, I am truly blessed to be able to have receive the opportunities I have received and I will continue to grow the person I am individually, and with my team.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As a Creative I endeavor in many different aspects of the industry. I am a Model, Creative Director, Video/Photo Editor, Brand Promotor, Influencer/Content Creator, Social Media Marketer/Manager, and more. I have been able to learn how to do all of these based on the experience I have earned from working with different people in the industry. I am proud of all of my work and all of my skill sets that I have been able to acquire throughout my journey. I would say to myself from 4 years ago, that I did not expect me to be in the position that I am in now. I believe what sets me apart from my work compared to others is the authenticity and effort that I put into my work. I try my best to see the creative vision in every projects as well as execute the visions that my clients are looking for in different ways.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing Up, I was a curious person. Being from a single-mother household, I always understood the struggles of having to be independent and having to put the time, energy, and effort into what you do in order to produce results. I believe this certain aspect has pushed me to acquire a mindset that has helped me grown to the point I am now. I am also humble because I have grown up in a humble environment. For the most part, I was never interested in anything creative or anything model-related, but I was interested in games. As a child, I believed that I was going to be a Doctor or Lawyer, because that is what my Mom and Dad portrayed onto me, but I know that I will always have their support no matter which decision I make.
