Meet Quinton “Chef Q” Fuller of Chef Q & Crew in Cobb

Today we’d like to introduce you to Quinton “Chef Q” Fuller.

Quinton, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I grew up around food, my grandfather was a chef. So growing up in a house that was based around food, it kind of chooses me I would say. I’ve tried other job including the military but just couldn’t shake the freedom and creativity of cooking.

Once I got out of the military, I enrolled in culinary school, started back working in restaurants as a cook and quickly promoted to Chef. It was cool but I want more of a challenge and to see if I could build something from the ground up for myself. Started off making meals peeps and personal chef and it evolved from there to take a life of itself.

Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, nor a struggle. More of a windy, curvy, bumpy road that requires lots of faith and patience. The hardest part was just getting your name out there.

Being that I’m not from Atlanta and don’t have a Rolodex of people to call on, it was hard getting people to give your product a chance. But once they tried the food, it was a sealed deal.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Chef Q & Crew – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
It a multifaceted catering company, we can go from doing huge catering events to building special individual menu for people with dietary needs, etc. We specialize giving and experience more than just food.

Being knowledgeable in what we do, because often time people idea of what they want without knowing what they want. We have own special blend of seasoning, everything is fresh and handmade. It’s more of a personalized catering company to better suit your needs.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the diversity of Atlanta, meaning I can go from catering a movie set, to a construction site, a wedding down to a child’s birthday party, cooking classes all in the same week… But I hate the traffic!!!! Think that’s self-explanatory.
