Today we’d like to introduce you to Quinton Terry.
Quinton, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always been a visual with the eye when I look at objects, buildings, people and moments in time. I’m always thinking about how things would look captured in a photo. Throughout the years, my wife has always said photography was my God-given talent and from there I eventually started shooting more. Now I am in the process of pursuing and perfecting my craft.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
I would say one of my struggles is balance. I try to make sure that I find time to get out often and shoot in addition to challenging myself to learn new techniques.
Q Terry Photography – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Q Terry Photography specializes in and is known for natural light photography and street photography. However, we do provide services in portrait and lifestyle photography as well.
Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
My wife forcing me, LOL to get a professional camera plays a major role in getting me to where I am today and I have so much more to learn along the way. There is no way I can forget the support of family and friends as they were the first to trust me enough to capture some of their most memorable moments. I also have to give credit to Photographer Chanel G., after having a one on one mentor session with her it really helped boost my confidence.
