Today we’d like to introduce you to Rachel and Andre Taylor.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We were sick and tired of being stuck in the same routine with no real goals or movement. We were in the cycle of doing just enough to get by. These were the dark days, and even our relationship started to suffer. Until one day, we took a leap of faith sold our home in Nashville and moved to Atlanta May 2018. I landed an amazing opportunity at CNN World headquarters in finance and also started a relationship blog that became serious.
Though we probably had like 387 followers, people would reach out to me with genuine questions about their relationship and I started to take it very seriously. This also started holding me accountable to my own relationship. I then went and branded the name and got an LLC. I also am writing a book that will be published June 2019 called Happily Black After.
Our names are Rachel and Andre Taylor, and we are the founders of Happily_Black_After LLC. Happily_Black_After was created on a foundation or hope and love. Many of times relationships end because the people in them simply give up. Is it hard to blast your business over social media (ABSOLUTELY) but what if I told you, you had a key of vital information to provide to others in their marriage/relationship?
What if you had a burning desire to help others be empowered and inspired in their relationships? What if giving this information to others left YOU accountable to live up to your own advice standards? HA! Would you/Could you take a giant leap of faith and start a relationship blog? Why not? Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a smooth road but believing it is possible has got us through. Some Challenge we are having is being new to the city and tempting to grow our client base here is Atlanta GA. also putting some of your business of blast to show your client we are genuine and go through some of the same issues

Our mission is to encourage and empower healthy relationships by providing real-life experiences and ways to overcome adversity in individual relationships we are a company that provides coaching and simple counseling to couples that are similar to us. Providing tips on credit, rearing children, how to be a success in a blended family, how to purchase a home, all kind of life skills.
What we specialize in is empowerment and helping our clients believe you can stay in and have a successful marriage and do anything you want to in life! What we are most proud of is that we have 15 years of experience in our field!!!
What set us apart from other is we are coaching/counseling/and empowering couples TOGETHER!!! how cool is that most of the time if you go to counseling you therapist may be single, divorced and cannot relate to you. But if you have a woman and a man that’s two different prospective Vs. One which I believe is so dope!
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My childhood was a rough one… I grew up on the south side of Chicago IL with substance abuse parents. But one of my most favorite memories is winning my 4th-day coloring contest and getting a trophy from that forward I knew that if you work hard, you are able to be rewarded it also trained my mind to believe you can create what you want and get a reward for your creativity.
