Meet Randle Berry of King Blitz in College Park

Today we’d like to introduce you to Randle Berry.

Randle, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I was born in Gary, Indiana around a musical family. My parents were musicians who would travel the states with their group to perform when I was a kid. Started writing lyrics when I was about nine years old, then starting rapping around my schools. Moved to Georgia when I was about 13 because the climate in my area back home was heating up. It was then that I began making beats for myself because I couldn’t afford to purchase them at the time. Here I am today.

Has it been a smooth road?
Of course not. That’s the beauty of it though right? You deal with a lot of different obstacles in this independent field. From flaky promoters, financial sacrifices, family issues, and that’s the least of it. However, that’s the fuel behind the lyrics. It’s the foundation in which I will value the most, and its knowledge that I can pass down. The biggest struggle I think I had to overcome was not being self-aware of my resources and comparing my success to others. You can get discouraged in so many ways on this journey, I realized along the way that 99% of the time, it was my approach. I had to learn how to balance being a creative, and being able be my own label in a sense. Taking full responsibility and learning the game was the remedy.

Please tell us about King Blitz.
King Blitz the brands primary focus is on promoting the Hip-Hop Artist and Music Producer in which I play the roles of. My mission is not only to create music but to create memories. I represent those who lack the courage to be themselves while advocating self-awareness. The hustle that lives within each of us, the hate that surrounds us, but the ambition within you. I’m proud that I was able to partner with Lost Reality Music in 2018, and since then they have been true to everything they represent helping me further my career. I think being vulnerable sets me apart from most. I’m transparent with showing people the real me, not being afraid to talk about what we all think about while still being able to uplift those in the time of need.

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
If everything goes according to plan, I should be touring comfortably in the next 5-10 years. Being able to have residual from multiple streams of income at that point. Collaborating with some of the worlds most talented musicians and producing anthems that will stay cemented in the culture. Ultimately, being able to secure my family through ownership and providing avenues for communities across the world.
