Today we’d like to introduce you to Rani Quirk.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Rani. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Harvest Soul creates nutrient-dense organic fruit and vegetable juices from amazing superfood ingredients that are high in fiber for healthier sugar absorption. Our products are made from whole foods and never use concentrates, added flavors, sweeteners, or GMOs. All of our juices are USDA Organic and Non-GMO project verified, and we never use concentrates, added flavors, or sweeteners.

My husband and I started the company because we thought something was missing in the juice category. There were a lot of so-called “healthy” juices that were really high in sugar, but low in nutrients, and filled with suspect ingredients. Our juices are all USDA Organic certified and Non-GMO Project Verified so consumers know they’re only getting the highest quality and cleanest fruits and veggies. Harvest Soul juices are available throughout metro Atlanta, on Amazon and in Safeway/Albertsons in Colorado.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
With any new business, it seems you take two steps forward, and sometimes three steps back! But we’ve made great strides in our 3 years of business. We launched our juices at a major natural/organic trade show in March 2015 and won an award for innovation in the category! We’ve won best beverage awards and blogger picks awards along the way. We sell to retail stores through distributors and working through a “middleman” can add time and expense to the process. That’s been a learning curve for our new brand.

Please tell us about Harvest Soul Organic.
We sell health in bottle — I’ve been known to say that very sentence to shoppers that we meet at farmer’s markets and in-store demos. It’s true. We pack over 5 lbs. of organic whole fruits and vegetables into a 12-oz. bottle, to give you over 3 servings! Because we blend our ingredients, and don’t press them, we retain so much more of the nutrients and the fiber than other “pressed” juices. Our bodies need fiber for so many health reasons, but specifically, high fiber helps us regulate our blood sugar; you won’t experience those nasty sugar spikes. Many “green” juices have no fiber at all, but lots of sugar grams. Consumers think they’re healthy because they look green, but after reading the label they will probably see that they’re really mostly colored apple juice.

Our juices have one of the cleanest labels you’ll find in the industry. We add NOTHING but the fruits and veggies, not even water.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
We expanded quickly into some other products but realized that we needed to focus on our core items.
