Raven, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Photography has always been an interest/hobby for me. Growing up, my mom always made sure I had a camera because of my interest in taking pictures. I would take random pictures of the family whether it be snapshots around the house, at the park for fun or at planned family gatherings. I also enjoyed taking pictures when I was in school and at different church events. Thus far the journey has been awesome because I have God and a great support team along with some wonderful and faithful clients that has helped me to get to where I am today. What was once a hobby later turned into a business.
No, it hasn’t been a smooth process. I started out with a few challenges along the way, but I didn’t let that stop my determination to go forth. Some of the struggles include unhealthy business management and decisions that didn’t work out as planned.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory was growing up in a neighborhood where the neighbors were just like family… being able to play and eat with one another as if we were all blood sisters and brothers.
