Today we’d like to introduce you to Rayvon Griffin.
Rayvon, before we jump into specific questions about the company, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
As a kid, I was always down for anything colorful and artsy. Between my Dad’s business savvy and my Mom constantly taking pictures of me and provided crafts for me to do, this was destined. Rayvon Creates was actually my senior project in college and fun fact I bought my LLC with a scholarship that I won through my Fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi (shout out to my Nu Chi family). The road of entrepreneurship has been the scariest and most fulfilling thing that I have ever done. But it wasn’t until August 2019 that I was able to go full time, and before then, I had as many as two other jobs while still maintaining my goals and vision for Rayvon Creates. It has been through the help and support of my family, friends, and loyal clientele that I’ve been able to be on this journey, and for that, I am forever grateful.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road has been everything but smooth. Like everyone, I’ve had my highs and lows coupled with moments of self doubt and frustrations. Between switching cities, temporarily moving back home, facing many rejections, and investing all of my finances in my dream, I’m surprised I haven’t gone mad by now. But even through all of that, I knew giving up was not an option. I was and still am all in.

Rayvon Creates is a 3 in one company providing photography, graphic design, and makeup services both domestically and internationally. Our chic and cozy home studio is based in Jacksonville, FL but we are available to travel and offer our services remotely. I am so proud of the wide variety of clientele that I have been able to service and travel to as well as travel to me to be serviced. The growth has been real. I think what helps set me apart from others is my ability to connect with my clients and really help bring their visions to life.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love the culture of ATL between all of the great food spots, historical relevance, and the fun nightlife. I always have a great time when I come. The only downside is alllllllllllllllllllllll that traffic.
