Today we’d like to introduce you to Reginald Crossley.
Reginald Crossley has worked in many capacities of government including state and local municipalities and is a devoted public servant. Reginald’s tenure has involved leading city, county and state initiatives aimed towards health and human services for families throughout metropolitan Atlanta. Reginald began his career as an educator in the public school system where he quickly worked the ranks. His work in governmental affairs sparked his interest in public office, to which he decided to run for State Senator in Georgia during the 2012 and 2014 elections. Reginald has been an advocate for the many issues presently plaguing our youth through the influence of county programs, policies and youth related legislation.
For over a decade Reginald has been involved in foreign policy and exchange missions with countries such as Brazil, China, Germany, South Africa, and Turkey. Reginald enjoys traveling and has visited over 20 countries.
Reginald’s experience also includes working in television and film for BET (Black Entertainment Television) a Viacom company. Reginald worked specifically within the public relations team and was instrumental in planning some of the world’s most viewed awards shows.
It has been Reginald’s mission to help combat homelessness and child poverty through advising foreign Consular offices and NGO’s to pathways that promote economic development. He spends countless hours organizing stakeholders for a unified approach to addressing limited access to clean water and energy generation.
Over the past 15 years Reginald has served on many government task-forces including working with President Barak Obama’s administration during the second term and most recently working with President Joe Biden’s policy team for the first 100 days of office. Reginald advised on policies for educational equity, law enforcement and COVID-19.
Reginald currently works as a corporate consultant specializing in business financing, government relations and urban planning; facilitating public private partnerships for commercial development and design for rural land use across the United States.
Has it been a smooth road?
The road to success is ongoing and can be discouraging after losses or failures. However, I’ve had to be a self-motivated person to truly obtain what I define to be success.
