Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all! Lol, I’ve dealt with many struggles along the way. I had to continue to be consistent…Push in spite of… Never give up. During this journey, I’ve had to understand my worth. I had to learn to be patient..even when I see my fellow peers move on to a higher level of success. That’s when you know your opportunity is right around the corner. Being in the music industry, you have to have tough skin, or you’ll get ran all over. I’ve failed numerous times but I’m grateful for the failures. If you’re not failing, you’re not growing. They made me who I am today.

Please tell us about Remey Williams.
I am a singer, songwriter, producer, artist, and musician. I have played and still play behind so of the most amazing artist in the world. I also tour as an artist/performer as well. What sets me apart from others is my story. Everyone has a different story.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood is when I was in my father’s studio playing his electric drum set. That’s when my love for music all began. My father who plays bass for the O’Jays would have band rehearsals in his home studio. They would record it and I would listen to the playbacks and play along with it. That when I found out that I could play drums… It just came naturally. When my father heard me play, he began to play along with me. I learned about playing along with a metronome that day. My timing was terrible back then but eventually, it got better lol.
