Meet Rhonda Marie Alston of Goldie Belle in Peachtree City

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhonda Marie Alston.

Rhonda Marie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I started my acting career in my home state of North Carolina, and I eventually made my way to Miami, Florida where I started working with Ethnicity Model Management as an actor/ model then eventually becoming a casting assistant. In 2005 I joined SAG Aftra and relocated to Los Angeles to pursue acting full-time.

On the side, I started working on building my company Goldie Belle with other actors and model friends that wanted to create their own opportunities in the entertainment world. In 2010, I started Forever Golden Films an all-female production company that created sports documentaries and short films. In 2015 I became the Creative Director for Dwight Howard’s D12 Foundation which offered me the chance to relocate to Georgia. With the rising television and film productions happening in Atlanta, and with me getting more requests to work with high profile athletes Atlanta was a natural fit for the Goldie Belle brand.

To date Goldie Belle, LLC is a boutique Sports Talent management company that represents current and former athletes from the NBA, NFL, CFL, and WWE. We also manage high profile athletes with their nonprofits and events. In 2018 I co-founded my own nonprofit foundation called The Goldie Legacy and started the “Sock it Don’t Stop It” campaign to encourage individuals to give back to the homeless in their communities.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No, it has not been a smooth road. It was hard at first to relocate to the south and to get comfortable with taking on the sports world while balancing a desire to stay connected in the entertainment world as well. Goldie Belle, LLC has remained a low profile company with the intent to keep our client’s privacy. So at times, it can be hard to get some brands to work with us at first. But our resume, client list, and our strong record of producing amazing events always seal the deal.

Goldie Belle – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
My company specializes in creating opportunities for athletes before and after they retire from the game. Which includes them working in entertainment as a host, actor, model or producer or to them maintaining a successful philanthropy lifestyle.

What makes me the most proud is seeing the look on the children’s face light up after we have made a difference in their lives. Every time I see one of my clients fulfilling another dream in life makes me super proud as well.

What sets my company apart from others is that I am not afraid to step out on faith to get the job done. Goldie Belle, LLC is a one-stop shop for my clients who have become family and close friends that will show up for each other in front of the camera and behind the camera. Team Goldie Belle!
