Today we’d like to introduce you to Richard Mathis.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Richard. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started working in doggy daycares about 5 years ago and became a vet tech shortly after that. While working in Veterinary medicine, I noticed that there was a high demand for pet sitters. With me currently being a vet tech at the time and having previous experience in doggy daycare I pretty much had what many people didn’t know they were looking for. And that’s how we started.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It’s been pretty smooth. One big struggle was coming up with a name lol
So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Village Pets, Pet sitting and Pet Care – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We are a pet sitting and pet care company and we look after and care for pets when owners are away or just a little too busy.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We’re hoping to open up a facility one day.
