Today we’d like to introduce you to Richelle Joseph.
Hi Richelle, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My path into business was not something I set out to do with a rigid plan. It evolved naturally from who I am.
I spent significant time leading teams in large scale retail environments, creating spaces designed for mass consumption and high traffic. In those roles, I was visually guiding millions of dollars in sales through strategic merchandising, layout, and presentation. That experience taught me how people move through space, how design influences behavior, and how vision translates into measurable results.
At the same time, much of my work happened behind the scenes. I also supported video and photo shoots, styling wardrobe pieces and curating details that helped create a moment. I did not think of it as strategy at that time. I simply enjoyed pulling separate elements together and turning them into something cohesive, impactful, and memorable. That curation gave me exposure to many aspects of business long before I understood how valuable it would become.
After COVID, I transitioned formally into a project management role. All of my previous leadership, creative, and operational experience came together in that season. It was the first time I was able to use my skills in totality, managing complexity while still honoring creativity. That transition also encouraged me to fully step into entrepreneurship and shape RSVP Style into what it had always been capable of becoming.
RSVP Style evolved into a multi service business rooted in strategy, execution, and aesthetics. Along the way, I explored several avenues I always enjoyed including jewelry, interior design, creative consulting, and content creation. Each experience sharpened my understanding of business, brand, and customer experience. Ultimately, I doubled down on the belief that my range was not something to refine away but something to integrate.
Today, my work spans business strategy, project management, consulting, content creation, and large scale event production. At its core, my business reflects who I am. I am someone who sees connections, builds structure, and brings ideas to life with intention. RSVP Style is the result of trusting that all of my talents are strongest when used together.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all and honestly, I am grateful it was not.
One of the biggest challenges was clarity. For a long time, I wore many hats and struggled to understand how all the pieces fit together. With time, reflection, and prayer, I came to see that my versatility was not a weakness, but something intentional. What once felt scattered was actually shaping the foundation of the business. Learning how to define my offerings, price my work appropriately, and clearly communicate my value took patience and growth.
There were seasons of burnout and self doubt, when I questioned whether narrowing myself into one lane would make things easier or more accepted. I also navigated financial uncertainty in the early stages, along with the challenge of building a business, while remaining fully present in other professional roles. Those seasons required trust and a willingness to keep moving forward, even when outcomes were unclear.
Another important lesson was learning when to say no. Some opportunities looked promising on the surface, but did not align with the direction I felt called to pursue. Choosing alignment over urgency helped me protect my energy and remain focused on long term sustainability.
Each season refined, not only my business, but my perspective. It taught me to slow down, strengthen my boundaries, and trust timing over pressure. Looking back, I can see how moments of uncertainty quietly shaped both who I am and the work that I do, allowing the business to grow with intention rather than haste.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
RSVP Style is a multi-service business rooted in strategy, execution, and thoughtful curation. At its core, the brand exists to help individuals and brands bring complex ideas to life with clarity and excellence.
My work spans business strategy, project management, creative consulting, event production, and brand development. I specialize in taking big vision and translating it into systems, timelines, environments, and experiences that function seamlessly, while still feeling elevated and intentional. Whether that looks like managing large scale projects, building experiential events, curating spaces, or supporting creative campaigns, the common thread is structure, paired with artistry.
What sets RSVP Style apart is the ability to operate across disciplines without losing cohesion. I bring a versatile background which allows me to understand the business objective and the human experience. I know how to think in terms of budgets, timelines, and deliverables, while also paying close attention to how something feels, looks, and flows. That combination allows me to support projects at a high-level, while remaining deeply hands-on.
I am also known for working behind the scenes to make moments feel effortless. Many of the most successful projects I have been part of required quiet leadership, careful coordination, and the ability to anticipate needs before they were voiced. That type of service is not happenstance, its intentional.
Brand wise, what I am most proud of is integrity. RSVP Style has grown slowly and intentionally through trust, relationships, and consistency, rather than shortcuts. I have been thoughtful about the work I take on and the way I show up for clients. It’s a standard I hold for myself, which in turn reflects the brand’s excellence. There’s no ego, just gratitude and creativity without chaos.
I want readers to know that RSVP Style is not just about aesthetics or execution, it is about stewardship. I believe in building things that last, serving people well, and creating work that feels aligned and meaningful. Every offering is approached with care, clarity, and purpose. The brand is an extension of how I live, with intention, faith, and a deep respect for the process.
How do you think about luck?
I do not view my journey as one shaped by luck.
There have been moments that appeared fortunate from the outside, being in the right rooms, meeting the right people, or being entrusted with meaningful opportunities. I see those moments as preparation meeting opportunity under God’s guidance, shaped by years of consistency, discipline, and faithfulness behind the scenes.
There were also experiences that initially felt like setbacks. Projects stalled, doors closed, and plans had to shift. In time, many of those moments revealed themselves as redirection and protection, reminding me that not every open door is meant to be walked through. Those pauses guided me toward work that was more aligned with my values and long term vision.
Faith influences how I interpret both success and challenge. I believe my path has been shaped with intention and purpose rather than chance and that God’s timing often requires patience, trust, and humility. If anything has carried me forward, it has been perseverance, discernment, and a commitment to building something meaningful, thoughtful, and enduring while remaining rooted in faith.
