Robbie Elliott while attending college at the Art Institute of Atlanta founded Elliott Graphix in 1994. The company was created to bring a new perspective of creativity to the community portrayed in our work. At Elliott Graphix, we feel that it is our responsibility to educate, express pride, and demonstrate our creative talents while delivering a professional product at a competitive price.

Through the years, the printing industry has changed. Quick printing (short run paper printing) has decreased with the evolution of technology. Therefore, we have been able to stay afloat with evolving with the industry and launching elliottgraphix.com. Recognizing that everything is online now. More people are shifting to online business to supplement their brick & mortar companies.

Has it been a smooth road?
It has not been a smooth ride in business. Many mistakes were made; however, I glad they were because learning from those mistakes made us wiser and stronger. Just before the recession we chose to downsize and reevaluate how to evolve in an ever-changing industry. We diversified our services and invested in new equipment and offered inhouse screen printing. It turned out to be a wise decision because that is what kept us going through the recession. We saw many of our customer’s offices close and those who remained open stopped spending as much as they use to. Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I’m practically a native to the city. I was raised in Kentucky by my grandparent but my Mother and Uncles lived here in Atlanta. I would spend my summers and spring breaks here ever since I was 5 years old. After moving here in on January 4th, 1994 this city officially became my home. I love its diversity of people. I see Entrepreneurs experience success and dreams come true from people in this city. There are many historical sites that the entire world knows about and there is always something to do. The biggest stars come to the “Hollywood City of The South”. Movies are being filmed here, great places to eat and the list goes on and on.
