Today we’d like to introduce you to Rod Mullice.
Rod, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I shared a vision with my partners Romel Canete, Jerome and Michael Russell to be build a Mid Rise apartment building that the aviation community could call home. My partners bought into the vision and we built the first new apartment building in College Park in 40 years.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Although we were passionate about our project we had to convince our capital partners that there was a market for a luxury apartment community in the Atlanta Airport Area.
The Pad on Harvard and Air Realty – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
We are Real Estate Developers of Transit Oriented Development projects. We pride ourselves on bringing smart urban design to neighborhoods that have been overlooked in previous development cycles.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
When we opened The Pad on Harvard and Dr. Richard Pieser, The Micheal Spears of Real Estate Development at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and my Lead Professor came to Atlanta and spoke at our Grand Opening.
