Today we’d like to introduce you to Rodisha Rodney.

Hi Rodisha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My journey into esthetics started from a deep passion for self-care and helping others feel confident in their own skin. Growing up, my mom was a hairstylist, so being around the service industry wasn’t new to me. I always admired her work, not just because she made people look good, but because she truly made them feel good. I watched how she transformed people’s lives by being there for them in every season , the good, the bad, and the ugly. Her clients weren’t just clients; they became friends and family because of her big heart and the way she cared for people. That left a lasting impression on me.

That same spirit inspired me to follow my own path in beauty and wellness. I went to school to become a Licensed Aesthetician, and that’s where I fell in love with skincare and the science behind it. During my training, I learned advanced modalities such as Microdermabrasion, Microcurrent, LED Therapy, Spa Therapies, and Reflexology. I realized how powerful it is to not only treat someone’s skin but also help them feel seen, cared for, and confident.

Since then, I’ve built my practice around education, consistency, and creating a space where clients can relax, heal, and reconnect with who they truly are. My goal has always been to go beyond the surface, to help people feel beautiful inside and out.

Looking ahead, I plan to continue growing my brand and expanding my reach in the beauty and wellness industry, with the long-term goal of creating spaces that empower others to grow and feel supported.

For me, esthetics has never been just about beauty, it’s about connection, healing, and helping people remember their worth.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped me into who I am today. Like many entrepreneurs in the beauty industry, I’ve faced moments of doubt, financial pressure, and having to balance work, life, and growth all at once. Building something from the ground up takes patience and faith, there were times I questioned if I was on the right path or if I should take a more “secure” route.

Honestly, I couldn’t have done any of this without Jesus. I’d be prideful to say otherwise. He has been my business partner every step of the way. The vision, the direction, and the strength to keep going when things felt impossible all came from Him. Even in seasons where I didn’t have the resources, He made a way and reminded me to trust His timing.

I’ve learned that success isn’t just about skill or timing; it’s about faith, humility, and trusting that God’s plan for you is bigger than any obstacle. Each challenge has reminded me to stay grounded, keep my focus on purpose over perfection, and lean fully on Jesus for guidance in both life and business.

My business is all about helping people achieve healthy, glowing skin while also creating a space where they feel cared for and confident. As a Licensed Aesthetician, I specialize in advanced skincare treatments that combine science and self-care. My services include customized facials, Microdermabrasion, Microcurrent therapy, LED light therapy, chemical peels, Spa Therapies, and Reflexology. I also offer specialized treatments for acne management, anti-aging, and skin rejuvenation each designed to address the client’s unique needs and goals.

What sets my brand apart is the holistic approach I bring to every session. I focus not only on delivering visible results, but also on educating clients about their skin, so they can maintain and enhance those results at home. I want every client to leave feeling refreshed, informed, and empowered. Creating this kind of individualized, intentional experience has always been my priority.

I’m most proud of the reputation my business has built for consistency, quality, and genuine care. Many clients return for both the treatments and the connection, the trust, and relationships we form are what truly make my work meaningful. My goal is to continue growing my brand while providing a space where people can relax, heal, and feel confident in their own skin, knowing they’re supported every step of the way.

We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success not by numbers or recognition, but by the impact I make. That may sound cliché, but for me, true success is making a difference in the lives of my clients, by helping them feel confident and cared for, and in the lives of other service providers, by inspiring and supporting them.

Success also means being able to take care of my family and those who have supported me along the way. When I can give back, lift others up, and create meaningful change while growing my business, that’s when I know I’m truly successful. For me, it’s about purpose, service, and leaving a positive mark on the people around me.
