Today we’d like to introduce you to Rosonja Seay.
Rosonja, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always had a desire to be a counselor. However, it can be really challenging to start a private practice. I did a lot of research. I met a lady who shared some helpful information. So, I spent about nine months obtaining the necessary credentials and I officially opened my practice in April 2012.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Often, as a small business, marketing can be a challenge. Personally, I still haven’t figured out the best marketing method. My business has been a smooth and it continue to be smooth because I love being a counselor and I love people. It is a complete joy to partner with individuals, families, and couples.

Life can be tough. For Rosonja Seay, helping families work through difficult time isn’t just a job, it’s a calling. Rosonja helps clients move forward on their journey to rebuild, restore, reconnect and rejuvenate their life and relationships. She has a passion for working with couples to restore marriages. She also works with individuals dealing with stress anger, anxiety, grief, and depression.
Rosonja, who holds a post-master’s educational specialist degree in counseling in addition to being a licensed professional counselor (LPC), she works in public education as a school counselor.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
As a counselor, my proudest moment is being able to see clients move forward in their lives.
