Meet Roxanna Sample and Tammy and Leon Stanley of T & R Balloons & Events in Fayetteville

Today we’d like to introduce you to Roxanna Sample and Tammy and Leon Stanley.

Roxanna, Tammy, and Leon, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Our over the top parties started with my son’s 1st birthday party in 2004. We wowed everyone each year.

Each year would be more and more over the top. We soon started getting party requests from family and friends so we decided “Hey, why not get serious, get a real business name and license?” and that’s how T & R Balloons & Events was founded in 2013. The “T” in the name is for Tammy, and “R” is for Roxanna, the & is for Leon, our delivery guy 🙂 (my dad)

Our business was featured in 2014 on a Steve Harvey Show episode. Since the airing of his show, business has been booming consistently to date.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Pretty much everything runs smoothly. We did face a challenge with my 4 year who was battling a rare form of blood cancer had to undergo a 2nd bone marrow transplant in 2016. During this time, we had to temporarily go in hiatus until he was well enough to be home and we could continue our business. Early party of this year, his transplant was a success, his, marrow is 100% donor and we are back up and running without a hitch.

At T & R Balloons and Events, we are focused on providing detailed and quality services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction – we will do everything we can to supersede your expectations.

We are a company who strives to take your event from an idea to an OVER THE TOP PARTY. We are committed to making each event unique and the best our clients and their guests have ever attended.

We specialize in unique balloon pieces. We can twist, create any character or make anything from a simple balloon. No professional training. All things have been self-taught within the last 2 years. We are MOST known for over the top children parties, but last year we have been expanding our services to weddings, family reunion, functions, catering, church events, banquets, etc.

One thing we are most proud of is we have been able to keep our business within the family. Us three have been able to bring a hobby into a full-fledged business we can pass down generation to generation.

What sets us apart is each package is custom to each individual need. There are no generic services here.

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If we had to start over, we would have started our business years ago back in 2004. We had the idea, but fear of stepping out there caused us to delay that dream.
