Meet Ruth Natera of Keller Williams in Buckhead

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ruth Natera.

Ruth, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Ever since I was a little girl, I loved selling almost anything. My family in Venezuela, where I grew up, built 6 small apartments to rent to students and I was involved in every step of the way, from the design to the construction process. That is what awoke my interest in real estate.

I became a real estate agent in 2015 and joined Keller Williams Buckhead. I was fascinated with the industry and thought of it as an adventure and not as just a job. Since I got my license, I have been doing this full time. I knew that this was the right business for me and that I had to take it seriously, considering that my plan is to do this for rest of my life.

Has it been a smooth road?
It definitely has not been easy. In the real estate business, you have to be self-motivated: you are your own boss.

I think that the biggest challenge for me has been learning to convert prospects into clients. You have to get used to getting “no” as a response, remain positive and keep trying until I get a “yes”.

I truly believe that, in the journey to success, failure is necessary. I am ready to overcome any challenges that come my way, to keep growing as a professional and to better serve my clients.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Keller Williams story. Tell us more about the business.
I am an Accredited Buyer’s Representative and a Certified Pricing Strategies Advisor. I help my clients to buy or sell in all price ranges. I love to represent either the buyer or the seller.

This March, I will be recognized as a 2017 Top Producer by the Atlanta Board of Realtors for my achievements through volume of transactions and/or sales. I feel very honored.

The area where I focused on is Intown Atlanta but I often work other areas as long as I don’t have to drive more than 1 hour.

I always strive to learn about the ins and outs of real estate. I take as many educational courses as possible because I like to provide my clients with information to clear any concerns they may have. My experience and knowledge put my clients at ease and they trust that I will help them make informed decisions.

I make sure that clients are getting all the attention they deserve. I usually get complimented on my approachability and availability. My clients think that I am easy to talk to and that they can tell me anything.

I like to provide a high level of service to all of my clients. For me, it is a very rewarding feeling to see that smile on my clients’ faces when they find their perfect home; or when working with sellers, they get that offer that is more than they expected. I am very proud of the level of service I deliver and I will do my very best to meet my clients’ needs.

I am fluent in Spanish and I work closely with the Hispanic community as well as with international people in general. I happen to know a lot of people from all over the world and I love it!

How do you think the industry will change over the next decade?
According to the Worldpopulationreview.com, Atlanta is a rapidly growing city and its metropolitan area exceeded 5.5 million population for the first time in 2013. It’s projected that metro Atlanta’s population will reach over 8 million by 2020.

We’ll see growth in existing suburban areas as well as the region’s core, as more people choose to live near jobs or transit. There will be even more job opportunities and I hope that the public transportation improves so traffic can decrease.

Also, Atlanta is taking over the movie industry and becoming a major film mecca.

I am excited about the future of real estate in Atlanta Metro and I am ready to be of service to all the people moving into the city.
