Today we’d like to introduce you to Sabrina Reynolds.
Sabrina, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Nearly 20 years ago, I began working with small business owners as a consultant for a Fortune 500 company. I noticed a common theme among entrepreneurs and executives, they felt alone in business. These business leaders had a strong desire to grow their businesses. They wanted a way to brainstorm their ideas but weren’t sure who they could trust. Since my employer didn’t offer this service, after work, I began assisting my clients with business brainstorming. I discovered that I loved it! After years of developing my skills, I started offering onsite operations consulting and business coaching for small businesses. Now I’m expanding to offer online coaching courses with my company Virtual Business Coach.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Obstacles and challenges go hand-in-hand with owning a business. I started my business with a few hundred dollars, a shaky business plan and a prayer. Less than a year later, my family and I decided to relocate to Georgia leaving my trusted clients behind. I was blessed to make connections and gained clients right before the great recession hit. My best client grew from making $189k in their living room to $1.7 million and operating in 4 states in less than two years. Seeing this great success blinded me from focusing on growing my own business. When my client decided to close their business, my sales pipeline was dry. With almost no income, I pivoted to a full-time job and went back to the drawing board to figure out my purpose and what went wrong. I revamped and relaunched with greater focus on coaching women leaders to help them grow their business or ministry.
Sabrina Reynolds Consulting – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I am known for providing business consulting and coaching for women in leadership, business and ministry. I consider myself to be a blind spot watcher to help my clients identify blockades to their success, overcome limiting beliefs and give them tools to reach their goals faster than expected. Most of my clients request one-on-one coaching because I provide high-level accountability. My coaching is unique because I pray with my clients in every session. Brainstorming sessions are also popular when my clients are launching a new business, product, or changes in their operations department. Virtual Business Coach is available for those who prefer my online courses.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I define success as seeing daily progress towards my spiritual, relationship, physical, financial and business goals. I’ve found that breaking my big annual goals into quarterly, monthly, weekly, and daily goals gives me a manageable visual of what I need to do every day to be successful. Setting a big goal is great but without making daily measurable steps, it is just a dream.
