Meet Samantha Fitzgerald of Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samantha Fitzgerald

Hi Samantha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey has blended creative passion with my love of entrepreneurial pursuits. For the past 8 years, I’ve worked as an actress and model, while helping entrepreneurs build and expand their businesses. I’ve always been drawn to the business world. The world of fashion, performance, and storytelling has shaped much of who I am, and I’ve loved every moment of it. But I’ve also had a deeper interest in the practical side of life, which eventually led me to finance. While I’ll always love fashion and acting and will never turn away from being creative, I still felt the pull to learn more about the monetization of things and how I could apply my skills differently.
Two years ago, I took the leap into the financial industry, starting with a fresh perspective and a passion to learn. I quickly discovered that finance, much like acting or modeling, requires a mix of strategy, adaptability, and attention to detail. It challenges me to think critically while also fostering a sense of empowerment, especially when it comes to making informed decisions. As I began to navigate this new career path, I realized how much the two worlds—creative and financial—complement each other. In both modeling and acting, I’ve learned about self-promotion, the importance of building a brand, and the value of understanding the bigger picture. In finance, I’ve seen how those same principles can apply when managing money, making investments, or helping others reach their financial goals.

Alongside my career in finance, I’ve also maintained time for my first love, volleyball. Playing and Coaching allow me to connect with others on a personal level and give me a space to unleash the inner beast. Volleyball is about teamwork, discipline, and perseverance—skills that are just as valuable in business as they are in sports. Looking back, I’m proud of how my journey has come together. While I’m still relatively new to the finance industry, I’m excited about how I’ve been able to merge my creative and business interests. For me, it’s never been about following a single path—it’s about finding what excites me, pushing boundaries, and building something meaningful in every area of my life.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, and while modeling may seem like an easy gig, the challenges often lie behind the scenes. Gigs can come by relatively easily, but ensuring that you’re fairly compensated for your time and effort can sometimes feel like a juggling act. Negotiating your value, understanding industry standards, and making sure you have the right representation are crucial parts of staying on top of your game.

Acting, on the other hand, has been a completely different experience. The market is incredibly saturated, and rejection is a constant companion. It can be tough when gigs may come months, or even years, apart. It’s important to stay motivated and find ways to keep yourself working, whether that’s taking on side projects, honing your craft, or looking for other creative outlets. Both industries require a strong sense of perseverance and a solid understanding of the business side to make sure you’re not just busy, but also being compensated fairly for your efforts.

The pandemic was another huge challenge, especially when no-contact regulations kept creatives out of work. During that time, I saw a lot of my peers struggle to find opportunities. However, I’ve always had a knack for sales and business, which helped me keep the money flowing through alternative means. It taught me the value of adaptability and the importance of having multiple skills in your toolkit to stay afloat during unpredictable times.

The struggles have helped shape who I am today—teaching me resilience, the importance of proper representation, and how to hustle smarter, not just harder. These experiences have made me stronger and more strategic in how I approach both my creative career and my new ventures in finance.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
In everything I do, I bring value and purpose. I don’t just navigate industries; I elevate them. Whether helping professionals build financial security, embodying a powerful role on screen, or mentoring athletes, I move with purpose, strategy, and impact. Success isn’t just about achievement—it’s about transformation, and everywhere I go, I make sure that happens.

At the heart of everything I do—whether in finance, creative industries, or coaching—is a drive to help people reach their full potential. My work isn’t about fitting into one box but about finding ways to blend passion with strategy, creativity with financial literacy, and ambition with real, sustainable results.

Looking ahead, I plan to continue growing in every area of my career. Modeling has been an incredible journey, and I intend to keep pushing the boundaries of my work in fashion while also expanding my presence in film and television. I’ve always been drawn to storytelling, and one of my biggest goals is to land major roles in drama or suspense series or films. The ability to step into different characters, bring complex narratives to life, and create meaningful connections through performance is something I’m deeply passionate about.

At the same time, I remain committed to helping others succeed. Whether it’s guiding professionals toward financial empowerment, supporting creatives in building sustainable careers or mentoring young athletes through coaching, I believe success is best when shared.

For me, the future is about evolution—taking everything I’ve learned and applying it to new, exciting opportunities. My journey has never followed a traditional path, and I don’t plan on starting now. I thrive on challenging myself, embracing new industries, and finding ways to leave an impact, whether it’s on-screen, on the court, or in the financial world.

Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
At the core of everything I do is the belief that success isn’t about escaping life—it’s about creating one you never want to run from. That means setting goals that align with who you truly are, prioritizing self-care to sustain your energy and vision, and surrounding yourself with the right support system to keep you grounded and motivated. Fulfillment comes from balance—pursuing ambition without burnout, staying disciplined without losing joy, and making sure every step forward aligns with a bigger purpose. When your goals, wellness, and community work together, you don’t just chase success—you live it.
