Meet Sarah Kraus of House of Colour Canton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Kraus.

Hi Sarah, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
After spending the past seven years running an online boutique, I was searching for something more service-based to connect with our local community. Now more than ever, I think we all are craving greater connections. I prayerfully searched for the right opportunity for quite some time when I discovered House of Colour. I knew right away it was going to be part of my entrepreneurial journey. Having over a decade of experience in the beauty and fashion industries, I think I bring a unique perspective to my clients. I am so grateful for the opportunity to help others let their natural God-given beauty truly shine.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Starting out in the Atlanta area, there was not a ton of knowledge about the incredible benefits of Color Analysis so my main objective has been educating others. As the word spreads, more and more people have been showing interest. I’ve even had several clients come in from out of state to visit the studio!

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
House of Colour, a UK-based company, has been a leader in color analysis and image consulting for close to 30 years. The first US franchise was established in 2010 and there has been rapid expansion across the county over the past few years. Our system is extremely detailed and firmly rooted in the science of Color Theory. We perform our analysis in person, in natural light, comparing a series of precision-dyed drapes to determine which hues bring overall color harmony to your skin’s undertones. We also advise on makeup, hair color, and style. Once you see just how good certain colors make you look and feel, there is no going back! Our services are perfect for everyone from kids and teens to grads and moms and businessmen and women. Over 60% of first impressions are made on color alone and my goal is to make sure everyone knows their best colors!

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Something that surprises most people is that I have a chronic illness, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. I think dealing with the ups and downs of that battle has given me a greater appreciation for celebrating each of our unique gifts. House of Colour gives me the opportunity to help others see just how beautiful they are.
