Shadeiah, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started writing my own short stories two years ago, I would post them on Facebook and Instagram! I would get so many compliments on how I should write a book! So, I thought about writing a book, I actually started writing one, but I got sidetracked and never seem to have finished it until I had some traffic things happen in my life that leads me to write a short film called “The Betrayal.”
Has it been a smooth road?
From the story behind my short film, it was very had for me to overcome it, I struggled with it for a very long time! But now, I can finally say I forgave “him.”

The name A.T.P. Films is named after my daughter Aaliyah Ture’ Perriman! I decided to name my company after daughter so when she gets older and can understand she’ll be happy that I did that! I feel like I’m different from others because I’m 25, I’m writing and producing my own films!!!!
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I feel like Atlanta is a great city to start out, it’s baby Hollywood! If feel like if you have a dream and passion, I say go for it! The sky is the limit & you only live once!
